With 12 years in the gutter field and thousands of installations under my belt, I’ve had the privilege of training many great people who went on to benefit so much from that experience. I love this trade, and honestly, I’m not against a new install at all—there is a real, shared joy that comes from doing a brand-new installation the right way and seeing it perform.

But I’ve also seen firsthand that a new install is often not really necessary. If the right care was performed in the form of regular maintenance, it would have eliminated the need for new gutters entirely. Just some time and some proper TLC is all it takes for existing gutters to function like they should for many more years.

Over the years, as pricing began to soar, it really shifted my perspective. I turned my attention toward fixing what’s already there—helping my neighbors save their hard-earned money and maintain what they already own. My approach is simple: Get maximum life out of your current gutters.
